Our goal is to study how we can use new technologies to positively impact the world of elevators, of maintenance, and the development of smart cities and buildings.
We mostly collaborate with universities and research labs to carry out our projects. We also seek collaborations with startups and other innovators.
Every semester, we open several internship or master thesis positions. Together with our students, we try to develop fast prototypes and proof of concepts to test and evaluate our ideas.
We are a spin-off of the New Technologies (NT) department of Schindler, located in Lucerne.
Schindler EPFL lab fosters innovation in machine learning, robotics, and perception, to address key challenges for both society and the company.
In Milan innovation lab we explore how machine learning, data science, and gamification can positively impact smart urban mobility and our company.
